Many mums and dads will be spending lots of time with their kids currently now that the school summer holidays are underway. And although parents no doubt love spending lots of quality time with their little ones, it can be exhausting and expensive to come up with ideas for summer days out with the kids.
To help with this, one mum has shared a genius tip to help tire your children out this summer to make sure they're entertained while you get some rest. Lili Barua, who shares parenting content with her 106,000 followers on Instagram, recently took to the app to post about the 'hack', which went down a treat with her fans – racking up more than 100,000 likes.
She shared the viral tip in a reel which saw her relaxing on the sofa.

Overlay text read: "My favourite parenting hack right now is free 'jump challenges' on YouTube.
"They think they're playing (and winning) games while using all their endless energy sources.
"Who's going to tell them? Not I."
The camera then panned round to her kids jumping up and down in front of the game on the TV.
Some people were loving the idea, as one person wrote: "The sleep tonight would be sweet and deep," while another branded it "genius".
Someone else added: "The jumping is so good for them too! Strong bones, good metabolism."
While a fourth wrote: "Great idea for kiddos who don’t have easy access to outdoor space!"
Someone else who had already tried the same also chimed in: "We did these in class with my kindergarten kids between lessons - it genuinely helps them blow off a little steam without the whole task of getting everyone together to safely go outside, or when we can't go outside for whatever reason (weather, lack of supervision, lack of safe places to play like parks)."
However, some other parents had a warning about the tip, as one person cautioned: "Careful. It builds stamina and endurance over time. They start to get MORE ENERGY."
While another echoed: "Double-edged sword here… bought my kid a trampoline and it was incredible for about three days before he built endurance and we were back at square one."
Others also added that they preferred to take their kids outside to play, but some argued that things like weather and other circumstances can sometimes prevent that at certain times.
